OUR Mission

We think a disciple trusts Jesus and learns to follow His instruction in every area of life. As you grow as a disciple at Life Community we want to help you display the 4 roles of a disciple: A Responsive Follower, An Available Friend, A Ready Guide, and A Life on Mission.

what we believe

“We exist to help you love God, love others and help you make disciples who make disciples.”

What is a responsive follower?

We believe the best way to understand a responsive follower is by identifying the types of questions they ask themselves as they seek to follow Jesus.

A great place to start is one of our bible reading plans.

  1. What has God recently revealed to me through scripture or prayer?

  2. Am I doing what He says?

what is an available friend?

We believe the best way to understand an available friend is by identifying the types of questions they ask themselves as they seek to follow Jesus.

A great place to start is joining or starting a life group.

  1. Who have I made time for this week?

  2. Who in my circle is hurting right now?

What is a Ready guide?

We believe the best way to understand a ready guide is by identifying the types of questions they ask themselves as they seek to follow Jesus.

A great place to start is starting a replicate group.

  1. In what area do I need to grow in order to help others grow?

  2. Who am I discipling?

what is a life on mission?

We believe the best way to understand a life on mission is by identifying the types of questions they ask themselves as they seek to follow Jesus.

Who am I praying for and what’s the next step towards sharing the gospel with them?

How am I leveraging my time, abilities and resources for the Kingdom?

And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.”

Matthew 22:37-40 (ESV)

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Matthew 28:19-20 (ESV)
